Signal Generator for use with Cable Avoidance Service Locators.

The EZiTEX t100 signal generator applies signal onto buried services, enabling them to be traced by a service locator tool.

Two modes of operation:

Induction Mode
Connection Mode (8 or 33kHz)

Supplied with earth spike and cable kit.

EZiTEX t100 Signal Generator - Product Overview

The EZiTEX t100 is a high output power Signal Transmitter which applies a distinct signal onto buried services, enabling them to be traced and identified by a Cable Avoidance Tool Service Locator. The output signal from the transmitter can be applied to the service in two ways:

Induction Mode

The transmitter can apply an industry standard 8kHz or 33kHz signal to a service cable without the need to make a physical connection. An internal aerial transfers the signal to any conductive service in close proximity to the transmitter.

Connection Mode

This is the most efficient way of applying a signal to a conductive service, such as a cable or metal pipe. The signal frequency can be set to either 8kHz or 33kHz, which will be detected by the EZiCAT locators and other most industry standard locators
